Research on sensor-less control method without magnetic pole position estimator
In this research, the sensor-less control method based on an open-loop concept is evaluated. This proposed method is simpler than the conventional sensor-less field-oriented control method.
Research on stabilization method for high-speed PMSM drive systems
In this research, the design method for the control system in high speed region is proposed. With this method, the system can be stabilized under motor parameter mismatch.
Research on high-efficiency control without using motor parameters
Motor parameters are necessary in order to achieve high efficiency control based on the open loop control in the conventional methods. On the other hand, the motor parameters are not necessary in the proposed method. Therefore, high-efficiency control for various PMSMs is accomplished without parameter measurement in advance.
